Will Franklin

At the beginning of Labyrinth, Will has been in France for nearly six months, trying to find inspiration for his writing and avoiding being forced to work in his father's business back in New York.
From a wealthy East Coast family, Will is the youngest of three sons. He was a Rhodes scholar at Oxford University in the 1980s, but has not yet found a niche for himself.
He is very attractive to women and falls in and out of love easily. He is also charming, a passionate friend and brave.
Will met Marie-Cécile de l'Oradore in Chartres in the Spring of 2005. They became lovers and he moved into her house in rue du Cheval Blanc, although he is now restless and beginning to have doubts about the relationship.
