Quiz
If you read last week's home page, you'll recognise the question: Can you write to order?
At this time of year, journalists are being asked to produce - to order - more or less amusing quizzes. Assuming you have time in between your own writing and producing a story for the Labyrinth competition, why not try and work out the connection between these groups of three apparently unrelated clues ... [This competition closed in early 2005.]
(If you think you've got the answers - and the word their initials spell - send it to greg.mosse@sepulchre.co.uk.)
1. retriever, St John's, Clinton's buddy
2. Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum, trams
3. Charlie, Irving, Adolf
4. Mayans, Cancún, meteor
5. Duke, Virginia, park
6. ISB, Shah Faisal mosque, capital
7. Confucius temple, Jiangsu province, 1937 massacre
8. Holy Cross, Afortunadas, one of seven
9. Hudson, Higgins, Eighth
There is a cryptic path through the Labyrinth.
